Become A Tennessee Holocaust Teacher Fellow

This program is designed to train Master Holocaust Educators from throughout the state of Tennessee so that they may serve as liaisons of the Tennessee Holocaust Commission in their region of the state.Teachers will be competitively selected and undergo intense and comprehensive training to develop their skills and knowledge base.
The program will take place over a two year period culminating in a project which can be replicated by other educators around the state.The goal of the program is to provide the Teacher Fellow with workshops, resources, first hand experiences with survivors, and travel to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. so that they may serve as an expert resource. THC Teaching Fellows have gone on to be liaisons for the THC in their communities and actively encourage and mentor their peers at their schools. Many have received prestigious awards and have gone on to serve as Teacher Fellows for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
